Ok, quick question. would it be alright if i used acoustic strings on my electric guitar? whats the main diffrence between electric strings and acoustic.

i doubt it, some acoustic strings don't have the magnetic properties to affect the pickups as far as i know.

Acoustic strings are much much thicker then electric strings. If you put acoustic strings on your electric guitar there'sa chance your neck will snap. To say the least, that would be bad.

Yeah, I highly don't recommend it. My friend did that to his and it messed his electric up.

Don't do it. Electric strings are made of a nickel which helps pass on the magnetivity and vibrations and stuff. Acoustic strings are meant to be heard acoustically.
