Hey Guys,

What is the point of the social groups that tons of these other people are in?
Like when you are reading a thread and it says PM me to join..... what do these groups do? are they anything special?
Cheers

Once I saw someone try to seriously give someone "the vulcan death grip". That was the dumbest thing I'd ever seen until I saw this thread.

No there's not really any point, just something some users do to for fun. They're not official clubs or anything like that, and there's usually nothing more to them than someone putting "Founder of the ____ club, PM me to join" and other people PMing them and then putting it in their signatures. I guess it's just another way people have found to express themselves and find like-minded users, but there's nothing special to them.
