I guess this is the place to ask if I just registered...

I just got a new Fernandes Native X with a humbucker/single pup configuration. It's been fine until the last two times I've plugged it in. It's been making an unreal buzzing/humming/static type noise, I mean, it is BAD. The only time it goes away completely is when I hold the chord where it meets the output jack...otherwise it's always there, even when playing. From what I gather, it's some sort of grounding problem, but I was wondering what I can do to confirm that and correct. Thanks!
