Since this is here, I would like to ask for a Meat Puppets recommendation. I'm always hearing about them and I'm curious.

Well all their albums are different. A good starting point is 'Meat Puppets II' or 'Up On The Sun'.

But I love all their stuff.

If you delve deeper into that site, you can also find live shows and radio performances up for grabs. They're all wonderful to listen to, especially the "Radio Meat" sessions.
you tell me who's better. i think good charlote are better than the bealtes but that's only because their lyrics mean more and they are better musicians.

Great band. Too High to Die is one of my favorite albums. Up on the Sun is also nice, but in a different way.

"Up On The Sun" is such a good song.

omg i got a cassette of that brand new last summer so it's been stagnating inside the case for 2 decades (1985) and all the songs are so warbly. "up on the sun, wrub wrub ree ree rrra ra ra." i have their s/t too, which is totally different but pretty dang good imo.

i mean no offense to buttholes and poop or anything

Rest in Peace, Troy Davis and Trayvon Martin and Jordan Davis and Eric Garner and Mike Brown

My godfather was asked to join the meat puppets back in the late 80's but he decided to join this other band instead. Stupid mistake.
