What everyone think of him? I think he's class - like a mix between the streets and the arctic monkeys! Can't go wrong!

He's really good. I'm seeing him in january (w00t!), which should be pretty awesome. I saw him do a solo acoustic instore once, it was brilliant - just him and that smacked out piece of shit called the bass guitar. I love 'Back in the Game', 'Kids with Guns', 'Salvador' and his cover of Billy Bragg's 'A New England' the most, but the rest of his stuff is all great too.

Bah to the Jamie T haters. I'm seeing him tonight, it should be pretty good. I saw him do an instore a while back (it was just him and his cracked out piece of shit called the bass guitar) which was great, so this should be awesome too.

Usually not my thing but I saw him live at a small Welsh festival last summer and he was quite good. Not sure I'd go and buy a CD though.

Hmmm, I was right. It was awesome! He played everything I really wanted to hear (with the exception of 'Down in the Subway'), a new track and a couple from the album which I haven't heard yet ('Pacemakers' and 'Operation'). I loved 'Ike and Tina' with the full band, and 'Calm Down Dearest' was fantastic; he played it, then again at the end of his encore at a much faster speed. It was great fun. He also did a handful of the songs solo with his acoustic bass. Looking forward to getting the album very soon.
