Come on in and post what you think about Breaking Benjamin, hate on them if you want, I just want to see what people think of the band. If you have not heard of Breaking Benjamin I HIGHLY suggest checking them out. They are definetly one of my favorite bands right now.

Nah, i don't like them. They seem like just the typical mordern rock band, nothing unique about them.

I love their music, I think Ben Burnley has the best voice in modern rock.

eeehhhhh... i'd say second after Brent Smith, but maybe thats just me. Also, on the verses in Breath, is it just me or does he sound like Maynard James Keenan during the APC era? im also going to bring that up in the APC thread.

And Ben has one of the most unique and kinda sexy ( even for being a man) voice . Yeah, I know .

Yes, you rule at life.

I remember liking Breaking Benjamin back when Polyamorous was released, and got Saturate the next day. Saturate's probably the worst of the three, but I thought I was pretty cool back then...Then So Cold came out and now everyone loves them. -_- Blecch!

Favorite song is Follow, off of We Are Not Alone.

polyamorous is a great album!

Follow Me, Breakdown, Water and Sooner or Later I believe to be their best songs

I like them very much!!! It's such a great band! Most I like the songs polyamorous and diary of jane

I hate the new album, but the first two were good, too bad the guitarist sucks, even after the 3 years he had to improve between albums. My favorite song is either So Cold acoustic or Home.

Breaking Benjamin is, in my opinion, the greatest modern day rock group. I got hooked onto We are not alone, and Saturate. I was dissapointed when their third album came out, but after a while it grew on me. They are awesome live, and deserve more credit than they get for their music. Ben Hurley is a great song writer.

My favorite songs of theirs are: Unknown Soldier, Evil Angel, Home, Who Wants To Stay Alive Forever?, and Until the End.

I've always liked We Are Not Alone and Phobia. Haven't heard Saturate yet. My favorites are "Rain," "Diary of Jane," and "So Cold."

Question: Are these guys Modern Rock or Nu Metal? I think they kind of ride the line.

I still like them even though they haven't progress much over the years (Saturate is their rawest album). Ben is an awesome singer.

You sure dont know too much about them for calling them the greatest modern day rock group.
1. Its Ben Burnley, not hurley
2. The song your talking about is "Who wants to live forever"
3. That song is a cover, orgiginally made by queen

Saturate remains their best work imo

I just saw Breaking Benjamin in concert for the 2nd time on Tuesday, Feb 6th at Cattle Annie's in Lynchburg, VA. If you're interested in the concert review (and the set-list *SPOILER*) please see my blog here

I would post the whole review here, but it's kind of long. Thanks!

It was his opinion! He even said so. How the hell does that indicate that he doesn't know much about them? And your third "point" has nothing to do with anything at all, lol. The song is a cover, but it's still one of their songs...It's not like it doesn't "count" or something.

Its not thier song you **** bag. its queens song and they play it. i cant just play any song and call it 'my' song.
#32
Actually, if they didn't do a note for note cover, it is their song.

well they didnt write the song, but its not like they can take the credit for it being theirs.
#34
No, they didn't write the original, but if they didn't do a note for note reproduction, they didn't cover the original. That's called a "derivative work", and they may very well own the copyright to it.

You're missing the fucking point, cockwaffle. They play it, it's a song by them. That's like saying Mad World is not a song by Gary Jules, or Hurt is not a song by Johnny Cash. Stop being a little whiney bitch and threatening to "fuck you up".
