I was at work yesterday while Q 104.3 (Classic Rock Station) was on. I wasn't paying attention to what was playing until the solo kicked in. It sounded allot like Free Bird but wasn't and it was the last part of the song and was long. ALso, it was only one guitar playing during the solo, not duels. All I know was the vocals sounded allot like Van Zant or Scott Wieland. Any ideas? It was really good solo and I wanna hear it again sor if you could recommend some songs that sound like Free bird's solo that would be nice.

Yeah, I heard Green Grass and High Tides on the other day, so it's quite possible that it's what you heard.

How to achieve Frank Zappa's guitar tone:
Quote by Thefallofman
Step 1: Buy a Gibson SG
Step 2: Insert Green Ringer, EQ, 3 dead squirrels and a microwave into said SG
Step 3: Plug in and freak the **** out.
