hey what guitar here is the best for metal. ie metallica,slipknot,disturbed,robzombie,pantera

other suggestions are VERY WELCOME but im look in the 300 range, let me know!

im looking for a dark tone, but also good for leads. im looking for a guitar that can handle emg 81 85 setup, if i were ever to toss one in. im looking for a fast neck and a set bridge(for alternate tunings) after suggestions are givin im gonna go to guitar store and test some things out then probally buy online.I AM WILLING TO GO TO 400 possibly if the differeneces are really great!.

i would go with the ibanez rg321 i just played that guitar my friend has it and it really rocks even though the pups arn't the best but as you said possably EMG's so yeah
P.S if your goin for more metallica or slipknot got with 81 and 60 better for that style

RG321 is by far the best out of those three and is very sound competitive compared to more expensive guitars. Too bad my local store didn't have it but my Yamaha ownz! Low action but it does have a fret buzz on string A but its ok, you cant hear it on the amps.
