k guys so im a guitarist but my brother recently got a drumset and i kinda wanna buy a bass(someday) to play some rythym with him. my question is, how big or loud does the amp have to be to play with a drummer. i don't need it right now cause hes not very good yet since he just started but im kinda curious

Ok, if you are just "messing around", a 15 - 25 watts is going to be OK, as long as your bro is not going to play like Keith Moon. I have two practice amps, a 10 watt and a 25 watt and I have no problem being heard over my husband's drum set when we practice.

anarkee's right, but if you're going to be real serious about playing then that's probably a different story.

I'd go with 25-50...just to be safe

Sex, pizza, the smell of fresh washing and slap bass.
