I couldn't find the answer anywhere. Imagine if the resistance of a load is doubled but the potential difference across the load is unchanged, would the current be unchanged, halved, doubles or quadrupled. Answer please.

It would be halved, look at the equation

I=V/R, If V is constant, it mean I is inversely proportional to R. Therefore, double R half I.
