I havnt been playing for long and I have a epiphone special model 2. I can get a Epiphone gibson special model for a good price. would there be a substantial amount of difference between the two? would the Epiphone gibson special sound better? cheers

You haven't been playing long? You don't need another guitar, I've been playing guitar for over a year, one guitar suits me fine. I've also been playing bass for nearly 2 years and I only have one bass.

I'd suggest spending the money on a new amp, some pedals, or maybe even some lessons to help you learn theory etc.

Yeah, but I play a Pacifica...

Remember, a good guitar will still sound crap through a crap amp. However, a crap guitar can sound a LOT better when played through a good amp.
