I've been weighing my options for awhile, I just wanted someones opinion.

A Line 6 Toneport KB37 (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Line-6-TonePort-KB37-Audio-Interface-and-MIDI-Controller?sku=246510), + something like Reason or Pro Tools. I know the Line 6 digital amps/effects stuff is mediocre, and the recording software it comes with isn't the greatest (only 4 maximum tracks.) So first off, can I use the Toneport KB37 to plug my guitar into the computer, and then use something like Reason or Pro Tools to record it (instead of using the line 6 software)? Secondly, can I use the KB37 (it's a midi controller) with Reason/Pro Tools to make piano/organ/synth sounds and record those too? Does Reason/Pro Tools come with those digital guitar amps/effects, and organ/piano/synth sounds? And lastly, will I need to get a new soundcard?

Im not only limiting myself to Reason/Pro Tools, those are just two of them that I know of. I can probably get pirated downloads of anything, so any suggestions?

Im only asking because I can get a KB37 off a friend for really cheap (christmas mix up and he doesn't need it, and I have a little bit of spare cash.)
http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Delta66-main.html good stuff. I don't know much about the line 6, but this is what I just bought for 250 cdn, and it's friggin kickass

lets make an emo song!!
first play same 2 power chords over and over
have a breakdown every 10 seconds
cry and whimper
dont forget the hair over one eye
and the depressing lyrics on how your teddy bear died!
Read the stickies.
