I just bought a marshall valvestate 100, and the cab is from 1982 it has 4 custom voiced celestions. I love the sound of it, but it doesn't seem to be able to cope with pinch harmonics. Wondering, apart from usin a seperate distortion pedal, does anyone have any ideas how to help it out. Would changin the valves help? Any tonal adjustments?...already tried full treble and a small amount of bass, didnt help!

if you can use a pedal to turn the volume right down but turn the amps volume up to around 7-8.

It'll drive your tubes more.
