Venus Hum
Imogen Heap
Spiral Beach
The kinks
The smokes
robbers on highstreet
tom leo and the Pharmasists
the stills
the hold steady
jets overhead
walking concert
norfolk & Western

These a few of my children. Please post your newly found red-headed step-children, so i can beat them to near death. Thanks-

'Indie' fans make me sad sometimes.
Friends, applaud the comedy is over.

I'd dance with you but...

they're love for their sound hurts, i know. I am the happy bearer of the hard times, but don't worry. We will be the same people who bring the next gen's good times.

this thread scares small children

oh, and..

The Ark
Scott Matthew
Tokyo Police Club
The Manic Street Preachers
Calexico (shush, indie kids like em)
Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly.
Mew
Subtle (acid hip hop...think a grittier TVOTR)

and not indie by any means, but everyone should listen to John Zorn...he can go from playing klezmer to noise on two different albums. great jazz.

Or my mind has been thoroughly boggled by the posts that came before.

Or it's the drugs....

On topic, I've really been liking Tom Waits and Badly Drawn Boy lately.

What the **** is going on?

Well, as far as "new" indie goes I've been listening to Sonic Youth's latest album and Belle and Sebastian's too.

And I've been listening to a lot of old school Built to Spill records lately.

Dunno why, but I like it.
