whats an arm ?:O

Read it and thought the exact same thing. Do you mean the neck? And that screw, if im right is the truss rod.

I think your talking about the truss rod, leave it be you don't need to "tune" it.

Haha! This guy's terriffic. I've read his other posts and his sounding like a happy japanese guy in each and every one of them. Maybe he is I have no idea how to tune the arm.

Have you read my other posts????????

can you show them to me???????????

This was my first post! I may be dumb and a beginer but you are a lyer

And also i'm not japanese - I'm Porutuguese

And yes i did mean the neck; just in Portugal we call it "arm"

But my real problem is that the distance from the strings tho the neck is pretty big
Is there a way to fix that?

Thanks

You probably do need to mess with the bridge and the truss rod, but on first try i don't recommend for beginners to do it alone. I really messed up my guitar when i first tried doing it, to the point that it was painfully unbearable to play. SO, if you are afraid of making it worse, i recommend having someone do it that knows how. Not one of your six grader friends, but possibly some sort of guitar teacher and/or guru.

i could show you some in a thread where you ware asking about an amp, i think that was your first post, you've posted in one thread other than that but i cant remember the title...

try adjusting the bridge saddles down before you touch the rod, if this doesn't work, take it to a shop and ask to watch them set it up. maybe you can learn how, but dont expect it'll be easy.

arm lol

YOU guys all need to calm the hell down. All of you obviously feel really crappy about yourself and/or your guitar playing which is why you have to bag on guy from another country having problems with his guitar.
Don't hackle him so much and simply ask him what he needs help with because, this really is a web site to HELP guitarist, like you and I, not discourage them.

thread starter, is the action too high?

or is it too low and ur getting fret buzz?

what makes u feel as if u need to adjust the strings on a brand new guitar?

can u bring it back the shop for adjustment?
