i've heard alot of stuff about this being possible with the inputs/outputs on the amp, but I have no clue and wouldn't want to try damaging a head/ the amp without being sure of something

is it possible?

Do you want to simply use the amp (I'm assuming it's a combo) itself as a cabinet (i.e. slave it to another amp) or do you want to connect a cabinet to the amp?

you just take a lead from the heads output to the input of combo (at least that's the theory for my marshall dsl 401 combo), but i would read up on the makers website just in case so you don't do anything wrong

I even tried dressing up as a fly myself, and throwing myself out of the window in the hope that they will follow me. But to no avail.

You will destroy the amp just like that.

You gotta connect it straight to the speaker..
