ok im repainting a basswood bodied guitar.

im painting it black and stencilling on a custom tribal design

after sanding it down to the bare wood will

THIS

be ok as primer?

followed by THIS

and the same in white will be used for the tribal design.

then This to finish it off.

do you see any problems with this ?
any advice greatly appreciated.

That should work well, I've re-built and re-painted a few guitars, very fun.

Sounds like you've done your homework, if you mess up, just sand the spot down and paint it again, the lauqer will be a bitch to get just right though.

im sure it does but i cant find it.

the other brand clear gives the same info as the paint im using so im sure it will be fine.

The product you listed are fine, you can use them. I recommend, since you sanded to bare wood, to use a wood sealer of some sort, although basswood is tight grained with almost no sap hole etc. I recommend sealing it.
