just today my computer starting to reaaly slow down when AIM is running, and i have no idea why. Im running 1 gig of ram on a cable modem so it isnt my computer

i felt like i had a virus, but now that its uninstalled everything is alright, anyone have the same problem

ya dude- thats adware. go on wikipedia and look up aim and they will give you all the options to get rid of aim's malware.

yeah, aim'll do that to ya, it's normal, just disable all the extras on it, don't open at start up,

If you're running AIM 6, it's probably that. That piece of shit slowed everything down for me, so I went back to 5.9.
