I need to know how I can get the effects that he uses during the verse of Dani California (Not the 4 chord pattern, the little funky part) RHCP rocks and I want to play more like him, so any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I doubt anyone will know. He uses such an insane amount of effects to get his sound its just nuts.

Search google for his rig...His pedalboard is like 10 feet wide.

A Lo-Pass filter to control the sweep depending on his attack......... that's all he used for those funky verse riffs...

You could also a wWah pedal too !!
Tone is all ...... well probably 75%, in your fingers.
The rest depends on your wallet's thickness !!

Keep the faith, baby!!

yeah... It sounds pretty much correct while played with a wah. I have a BOSS ME-50, so I doubt that anything that he actually uses would be on it (except he uses DS-1) so I might have to invest in some more pedals!

On the recording, it's actually a Moog pedal of some kind.
He uses wah live though.

John doesn't use a DS1 anymore.

His pedalboard is as big as his vocal range.

I like it.

^Nope.

There's a phaser just before the solo for about a second, that's probably the Moog 12 stage phaser.
