Okay, UG, this was done once but it is very very, and we learn new songs. So... what songs are you proud to say that you can play? Any special songs you kinda like to show off? For me it would be Staiway to Heaven (I'vw only been playin like a year). Sp, UG, what are yours?

To show off, Glasgow Kiss by John Petrucci, Suffocating Under Words of Sorrow by Bullet For My Valentine, and Canon in D by JerryC. To just play for fun i'll pull out Anthem by Trivium.

Canon in D by Jerry C I know enough of to impress people(not that that's what I'm aiming for, but it makes me proud to know to play it when that happens...)

Smells Like Teen Spirit-lol easy but I'm mianly proud of the fact I can paly it all teh way through with vocals, a goal I set for myself which I achieved.

And lastly-
Sweet Child O Mine-it just makes me happy when I play it. Antoher accomplished goal.

Well, I stopped learning other people's songs a while ago (not enough patience, doesn't really get me [personally] anywhere) and now I'm proud when I can write a good song.

The Power Ranger theme song ! I'm serious this song sounds badass.

Being able to do subtle and melodic changes and add some depth and fullness to a song, just like the way they were meant to be played.

I think it's rather obvious that he knows Canon in D wasn't written by JerryC, and that indeed he's referring to the rock arrangement and not the original.

Anyways, I don't know. Your title had me expecting sounds, though.

To be honest I find more satisfaction in writing and recording songs.

under the bridge is the one i'm most proud of dunno why though
Yertle the Turtle was king of the pond.
A nice little pond. It was clean. It was neat.
The water was warm. There was plenty to eat.
The turtles had everything turtles might need.
And they were all happy. Quite happy indeed.

Johnny B. Goode. I love the killer bends. I play it the Chuck Berry way, not the UG way.

Binge and Grab. I confess that I did take some notes out of the solo and add some tapping (I'm only human, I can't play it all), but I can play the whole song all the way through. It's gonna be my performance song for the school spring concert.

I can play "Cliffs of Dover" by Eric Johnson pretty fluidly, and I've only been playing for a year. I'm also well into "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" by Pink Floyd, and when I get some thinner strings, I'll work more on "The Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing" by Joe Satriani. My strings are way too thick to do the arpeggios. They also happen to be too thick to do the full "17b20" in SOYCD. But, again, I'm working on it anyway...
