I know Dunlop and Vox wah's can be modded to become volume pedals.

I don't know if all do, but my 535Q has a dial which if you turn it up, it acts like a volume control, and makes it increase>more distortion.

alot of times, when u get a combo wah volume, ur not getting the best of both.

depends on what u need it for, but for stage use, id keep them separate.
