Hey

When I connect my GT-8 to my DSL-50 head via the 4cable method I get insane ammounts of feedback.. how come? anyone know?

First, choose a patch and clear out all of the effects in it. Start from scratch. Also, turn the volume knob on the back of the GT-8 to the half-way point. Do you actually have the FX Loop turned on on the GT-8? If not, then you're bypassing the pre on the DSL and going directly into the power amp (which isn't a bad idea, but it could explain the feedback if you haven't checked your levels). Check these things and let us know the result.
