The root note of the power chord tell what chord it is hence:

D--2
A--2
E--0

Since the root note is a E, this is a E5 chord, the 5 denotes that it is a power chord.

power chords are not major or minor. they were origanally made for blues. A true power chord is the root and the 5th of the scale. A lot of rock musicians use power chords but they add on the 8th of the scale for a fuller sound.

3
5

i hate those, i can never keep my finger strait

anyone know some exercises i could do to improve this?

Buy both pickups. Rub icyhot on both of them. Sandwich your penis between them and walk to the nearest homeless shelter with your brand new icyhot penis sandwich.

it's root and 5th.

how do you call that thing an inverted powerchord? it has the 3rd and the 6th?
I'm not racist.

I hate everyone the same.
