I think you might want to work on staying in a particular scale. A few nonharmonic tones are fine, but seems like you have non-harmonic tones on the beat, and not in a resolvable manner either. So, maybe start learning about the blues scale (since it has those chromatic runs you seem to like), and maybe develop your songwriting from there.
