okay look at my sig, thats my rig. i want a good dist. a heavy dist that will calm down too. dont worry about price. any help would be great. i just want a heavy tone and the DS-1 isnt getting it.

no dont like it. i was looking about the Boss OD-20. its 22 diff dist. in one and it has cabinet settings and all that.

I'd give a Digitech DF-7 a test drive; I've played with 'em, and thought it was pretty good, but the tones you get from them are a touch digital.

haha no way ive already dont that. ive played EVERY digitech pedal 9they had at guitar center) which is alot and i just wasnt happy. it sounded too fake. and what im hearing about the metal muff is that it is REALLY good.

Metal Muff is too weak for metal.

Digitech always sounds to digital.

Boss metal zone is absolute garbage.

...and by heavy distortion to you mean metal or do you want some good heavy rock tones? I tried out a Seymour Duncan Twin Tube Classic and it made some really good sounds through my solid state Randall... but it wasn't metal.

? no it isnt, the Metal Muff has enough gain to get up to death metal, if you though it sounded weak then you didnt EQ it right.
