Ok I just couldn’t not post I just bit the bullet for the second time and bought a Gibson Les Paul Standard Gold top with p90's and a 1950 shape neck.
I just sold my Epiphone SG-400, and I just couldn’t stop myself from ringing them and buying it.
This Is my second Les Paul now all I need to do is fill out the forms and its mine wooo!.
Encase people didn’t know I'm a complete Les Paul nut lol!

What are the P90’s like?
I herd good things about them, I play blues and Gary Moore and Thin Lizzy and more Classic Rock I herd there great for that.

here she is...

Sweeet dude, i'm thinking about getting an Epi LP when I get the money, because my Ibanez can't handle clean sounds worth shit, but that could be my pick-ups. But anyways, awesome guitar

It was a close call between the Limited Edt Les Paul and that one, I chose that one because I already have a Guitar with Bursbuckers, so it would really be the same thing.

Well the thing cost me 800$, but the pick-ups are weak, that has got to be the problem.

Hot pickups will screw up your cleans more than weak ones - you shouldn't be having those kind of problems!

TS - nice guitar, very Skynyrd

sweet guitar, the p-90s are great,

they still have the les paul beefiness, but a little more punch in the mid end,

congrats on the buy, that thing is killer, you'll probably go in a coma when you try it out with a nice boutique tube amp!

Lol most likely I really want to get a AC30 or an Marshall stack, I love Valve amps.
But my Marshall Combo will have to do for now.

Thanks mate even though Lizzy have a habit of staying in the same key and down tuning there guitars (Live and Dangerous), I can't help but love Lizzy, they have inspired some of the techniques I use in my guitar solos today.

Also I believe that Les Paul himself should be noticed as he was doing things to guitars that people didn’t even dream about, not only creating the Les Paul guitar but the way he plays guitar, wow.

I will let eveyone know when I get it post a few pics and maybe a video.
