this should probally be in the GC & B forum, but your gonna want a good body wood so you might want to start higher priced or it will be a waste of money

Hey you look kind of like me.

Except for the sexy man goatee, and kickass shades. And sweet guitar.

I'm jealous.

try the dean evo on musicians friend...$100, not 50, but they might have some cheaper stuff on there. i just say the evo, cause imo, they are pretty good for 100 (playability wise). also, the finish is very minimal (if at all) so it would be easy to strip/re-paint/re-stain later.

Ehh, I'm pretty sure my EVO XM actually has a pretty thick finish. Might be able to paint over it if you really want to. Personally, I'd get some sort of Strat clone. Any pawn shop will probably have at least 5 laying around. There's really a lot more you could do with a Strat, than an Les Paul type guitar like the EVO, just because of the plethora of Strat replacement parts available.

With all your power,
What would you do?

Please don't tell me I'm the only one that clicked this thread thinking I would learn how to make my guitar sound like a grizzly bear.

u got the black one or the one with the natural finish? cause i borrowed my buddies that had a natural finish, and there wasn't much to it. maybe he stripped it or something, though.
