Anyways... I was looking at replacing my pickups. How easy is it to install pickups... Is it just like a disconnect you pull out, swap, plug-in... or is there soldering? Any brief explanation would be appreciated.

As long as you're replacing passive with passive or active with active you basically just disconnect the wire that was there and replace it with the new one from the pickup (there is soddering, of course). Easy as pie. If you're looking to put in additional options like phase switching and tap coil that's a bit more complicated, and switching from passive to active or vice-versa would require a bit more knowledge and screwing around.
