Pentatonic, but if you wanna get into theory, learn all about the major scale.

A pentatonic minor is the easiest. Then move on to the pentatonic blues.

rofl, I think he meant most generic solos.

Ionian (Major) first, of course. I do not really use it as it does not fit with my writing, but every scale is a variation of the ionian in western music.
