that's not really an answer to my question but thanks anyway.
but are OD-pedals useful when used with a solid state amp, cuz you say it's a sgnal booster to press tubes ?

I've got the OD3, and I've played the SD1.

The OD3 is a warm, fat type of overdrive, it's best used as a boost.
The SD1 is thinner sounding, and is better for boosting a heavy amp over the edge.

Try them both out, that's what I did.
