Any tips you have?

What set up should I have to get close to their tone? What pedals did they use if any?

um..

read the wikipedia article on keith richards, and brian jones

that should list their gear (telecasters, les pauls for keith, and firebirds and teardrops for brian) thats just my gross generalization though

and tune to open G, which is what keith used to get his signature sound

and a fuzz pedal on stuff like satisfaction

in addition to open G tuning, also ck out open E (or D, pretty much the same thing) tuning

also Keith used a capo on quite a few songs
