I got a latop for xmas and i'm running outta space so i was thinking i could use my old hardrive somehow. does anyone know if it's possible to change an internal hard drive to an external one?

You could buy an external hard drive, some of those have a huge amount of capacity.

Not sure if you can use an internal as an external though.

You can buy an external harddrive enclosure - you put old drive in it, and it magically is an external USB drive.

If it's a laptop drive you want the 2.5" variety, desktop harddrives are 3.5".
