Hello all. I am new to this site and guitar playing in general. I have been playing a lot in the past 4 months or so and I am trying to learn my chords as well as how to read tabs. There are several very easy songs I have learned so far like Horse With No Name, Free Fallin', Keep Your Lights On, etc. I am looking to you all for help in identifying other popular songs that are easy so I can feel like I am learning how to play actual songs while I go through the maticulous part of actually learning how to play beyond chord strumming. Your help and suggestions are appreciated.

Check out some Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR). Bad Moon Rising and Down on the Corner are absurdly easy chord songs.

Try Some of these:
Squeeze Box-The Who
Freebird-Lynyrd Skynyrd
Copperhead Road-Steve Earle
Breakdown-Tom Petty
For What it's worth;Buffalo Springfield
These are mostly All Classic rock type songs but are all quite easy to learn and not hard to find if you don't know the tune(Look for Greatest hits packages)
