Ok, I'm using this pedal with a jcm800 and the pedal creates an incredibly loud humming noise (unbearable)...is this normal for reverb pedals or could it be my cable(brand new by the way)?

Is it in the loop, what power supply are you using and whats the rest of your rig?

my rig is a jcm800 single channel 50 watt with a marshall avt 4x12 cab, power supply is an ac/dc adaptor, it's the only pedal i'm using, so i dont have much of a loop...i don't think i could do anyhting different...right?

Your gonna have to shell out 60 bucks or so and get a noise reducer pedal (like a rocktron hush pedal). You already should have one anyway. JCM800's hum terribly when cranked.
