I dont recommend running files with strange extensions unless you are POSITIVE it wont ruin your computer.

Where did you get the video?

I got it from a mininova torrent and it had like.... 2000 downloads so im sure someone would have reported it if it was a bad file. I just need to know if anyone knows what sort of file this is and what programs i can use to run it.

When you click on the file a box should come up that says Windows doesnt recognize the file. You can choose to select the program from a list or, have Microsoft search online for a matching program that will play the file.

Try selecting Windows Media Player and all those things from the list first, and if that doesnt work, have Microsoft search for you.

Hopefully, that should work.
