im thinking about putting a fender trem on my Dean insted of a Floyd because there is less routing but is a floating trem better than a double locking? will putting on a locking nut do good enough to keep my tune?

and another question, what trems did Randy Rhoads use?

Floyd roses destroy Fender Trems.
The Set-Up

Gibson Les Paul/Fender MIA Deluxe Strat --> MXR Super comp --> Boss DD-3 --> Dunlop Crybaby --> Need an amp, wanna sell me one?

It depends what you're after. I equally enjoy my Strat's trem and my Edge Pro.

On the Jacksons it's a Fender style tremolo. I can't find a good pick of the origional polka dot guitar, but it looks like it might be a Kahler.

EDIT:
I found a better pic. The PDV also has a Fender style trem.
