Get the serial number off the headstock or the body and check with the manufacturer.

Please don't tell me I'm the only one that clicked this thread thinking I would learn how to make my guitar sound like a grizzly bear.

hey, I have an old guitar 2, but it doesn't have a seirial #

pics?

what's the brand on the headstock?

if you can find the brand name, chances are the brand name will have a website, which will hopefully have a catalogue of guitars, and from there if you can figure out what guitar is yours, you should fine out the year.
