What style of music do you play?

Well, I would say for 200 pounds, you could get that, or look for a jackson maybe, a nice dinky or something. Ofcourse what would a guitar advisory thread be without someone advising an Ibanez.
So try an Ibanez.
"Guitarmen, wake up and pluck wire for sound, let 'em hear you play"
-Charlie Christian
"You have to give people something to dream on"
-Jimi Hendrix
"I try to make any guitar do what I want it to do"

Probably an Ibanez. You can get a pretty good guitar for around £200-£300

Has quite an extensive range and they're pretty cheap too.
Check out the SA and RG ranges.

if your playing rock or punk, you might want to look for something with a humbucker as opposed to single coil pickups
-Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass
-Tech 21 Sansamp RBI
-Mesa Powerhouse 212
-Fender Bassman 410
-Tons of other bass/guitar gear

I'm a fan of the SG personally...
Here's what they look like:

I don't know how much an Epiphone SG G-400 will run ya up....They go for about $350 US.
That's pretty much as low as I'd go with SG models from Epiphone. Specials and G-310's aren't really worth it.

Humbuckers will give you a sound definitely better for punk.
I don't know anything about that brand you posted, but I wouldn't reccomend it.
