alright. my guitar i just finished, has a double humbucker configuration. when i play, i can hear the sound and such, but there is a horrible humming. help me out Ug!!please.

try to raise the action. got any pics of the guitar?

i see that the humbuckers are a little close too the strings. try to lower the buckers and raise the string action. i THINK that should work

no idea. since you made it yourself, it could be alot of things.. maby the humbuckers are damaged? try the pu-switch and check if the humming's still there

it is there on all selections. it only hums on distorted, not on clean though.

how do i ground it properly? i just have all 3 ground wires sodered together.

Everything that has a ground (jack, pickups, pots, etc.) needs to be connected together one way or another.

hmm. it is all connected in one way and anohter, but it buzzes like hell.

Did you run the ground wire to the bridge?

you need to ground the bridge too, use a wire from the back of one of the pots, and drill a hole through to the hole for the stop bar posts, poke the wire through then put the stop bar back on....

this way the strings and bridge get's earthed too
