this thread is to find the best 80's riff. you can also do riffs from other bands that arent 80's Because there is no way to put this thread into the hard rock at the same time. So i think crazy train has the best riff

Motley Crue's 'Wild Side' riff is pretty kickarse.

And Judas Priest's 'Painkiller' remains one of the awesomest riffs EVAR.

I'd say the main riff for whiplash by metallica ( you know all the palm mutes ). its the thrashiest song Ive ever heard and the riff just drives me insane with headbanging when i play it.
