Hi I need a little help. When I try to record with my mic, even at full distance away from my PC, you can hear the PC loud, which is effecting the quality of recordings. Is there anyway to quiet down how much you hear the PC? Apart from buying a quiet heatsink/fan.

Computers give off heaps of noise...not much to do, except sit far back. Changing the positioning of your gear can help too.
I'm not very active here on UG currently.
I'm a retired Supermod off to the greener pastures of the real world.

Okay thanks, it'll try that.

Always turn off the monitor when you hit record. Your pickups and mic coils will interfere and pickup noise from it. You won't believe how much noise is caused just by this.
