I have a floyd rose and recently I went to a heavier string gauge and changed my tuning to Drop-C. Should I have to intonate it or do you think it will be good? When I check the intonation it seems fine but maybe it is just my crappy electric tuner.

I would have thought it the intonation would have to be changed a bit. but if it seems fine. and dont blame the crappy tuner, its hardly going to be so right that its wrong

well, the intonation might be fine now, it'll screw up eventually (as mine did)

and it probably wont stay in tune near as good now either.

definetly fix the intonation whenever u change string gauge (especially if u have some kind of tremolo system) and/or u change to a new tunning that u'll be using a lot.

The tuner doesn't pick it up though, apparently the intonation IS fine. I can't tell by ear i'm not that elite.

just fret the 12th. if the tuner likes what it hears then ur fine.

i check the 12th almost everytime i pick up a guitar.
takes 2 mins to intonate once u know how, so dont worry about it, just play.
