Just bought a flash drive, and I want to be able to take my Firefox (including bookmarks) with me. Would I just need to make a copy of the original program (found in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox, not a desktop shortcut) Or would I need to copy all the program files to take bookmarks/add-ons?

I doubt people have fought holy wars and killed millions of people in the name of the Beatles, either. So, yeah, Jesus probably was bigger than them.

Why not just put the whole operating system on the drive?

How big is the flash drive? 20GB? :P

You'd need to copy the whole "Program Files" directory, I think. And Firefox would have to be installed in the place you taking it to.

He could just save the bookmarks to his desktop and put the installer and the bookmarks on the flash drive...

Use Firefox Portable:
http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable

It's designed for running specifically on portable media such as flash drives.
That looks cool. I'll try that out. Thanks.
