What, you've never seen his pornos?

I hate the way he wrote himself into the Dark Tower series. Pretentious much?

I like him, though he's not my favourite. I've read Carrie, The Stand, The Gunslinger, Wolves of the Calla, IT and Pet Semetary. I liked It the best, just the way he uses small details to make everything so much more realistic and frightening. You could believe he was writing about an actual event, rather than it just being a story.
The will to neither strive nor cry,
The power to feel with others give.
Calm, calm me more; nor let me die
Before I have begun to live.

Or The Stand miniseries on SciFi?

I'm downloading that right now and was just going to ask that :p

From what I've read of the plot and responses of the book...I'm totally pumped to watch this.

Also, has anyone read his new book "From A Buick 8"? I read about it in his book "On Writing" and thought it looked interesting. Any reviews?

Eh?

Edit to LilVikingboy: The Stand miniseries is pretty good...they change up how Larry and Nadine meet by taking out Rita, which threw me for a loop for a little bit, but other than that, it's really worth watching. Now I just wonder why SciFi makes great miniseries but crappy movies...

reading the dark tower was the greatest half a year of my life (yes i read slow)

The Stand was awesome.

But he usually ruins his books with mythological/religious crap.

I prefer the storyline to stay at least A LITTLE realistic.

I've read through all his Dark Tower series... my favorite book series. Amazing stuff... and the end for me was REALLY great, as I personally am a big believer in all of that kinda stuff.

The Stand is really cool.

Insomnia is a GREAT book.

The Talisman is a nice read, kinda draggy though. The Green Mile was good.

I dig books.

I'm currently reading Nightmares & Dreamscapes, which is pretty cool.
