I'm doing a project and I need a sports star of the late 1800s-early 1900s. Most of the popular baseball players of the time are taken by other people in the class so I don't want to pick a baseball player, cuz then if its taken im screwed. My teacher suggested a figure skater or a gymnast. Does anyone know any sports stars of the late 1800s- early 1900s? And it has to be someone who as well known at the time. Thanks in advance.
