Im a huge metallica fan and wanted to start learning metallica songs so i can play them with my friends when we form a band. I know riffs from a couple of songs like creeping death and seek & destroy. You guys know any easy songs from any album except st anger that i can learn if possible with easy solos but even easy songs the solos i can learn later on i dont plan on having a gig in a long time from now.

Fade to Black
the Unforgiven

Welcom Home (Sanitarium)

None of those are extremely complicated, and they're all quite fun to play

i say no to MOP because beginners cant play the fast riff, well maybe some can but this guy wants easy metallica songs and MOP is one of the most advanced ones.

I say Welcome Home. Or Wherever I May Roam

For Whom the Bell Tolls. That's pretty easy to play and it sounds really cool.
Also, Of Wolf and Man is fun and the solo is really really easy but sounds good because its played fast. It's just fast pulloffs and it's fun to play.

Still complex enough for a challange.

Try For Whom The Bell Tolls, Whiskey In The Jar, and Enter Sandman.

They all have thier tricky little riffs, but are moreso basic then the other songs mentioned.
