ok so i have an Epiphone SG and i want to buy sum strap locks.... i saw these CLICK ME!!!! and they have good reviews everywhere i look so i was about to get them when i looked at my guitar strap knobs.... the one near the neck is part of a plate that looks like it holds the neck on (picture below)... will these strap locks work on my guitar

Just imagine if the strap lock strips the strap peg hole and then your bolt on is wrecked, and then your whole neck breaks and falls off...

It works I guess.

Well I can't say for sure, but it looks like the screw from your current strap button is in the back plate anyways, you could probably just replace that screw with the one from your strap locks, I don't think it would be much of a problem just be care full when your putting them on.

schaller straplocks are awesome, but i would redrill the hole for that one and not mess with the one in the neck plate.

I've used them for about a year, and I've never had a problem.

EDIT: They might not fit on that strap button though.
