Ok, so I was on warmoth.com and looking at bridges, and I was wondering what exactly a tail piece is, and if most bridges sold commercialy (like on warmoth) come with a tail piece.

Also, I'm assuming a tail piece is neccessary for a guitar (electric) but correct me if I'm wrong.
Strats have hardtails or tremolos, les pauls have 2 bars, the Tune-O-Matic bridge and the stopbar/tailpiece.

Not all guitars need tailpieces, only ones with TOM styled bridges.

Even TOM bridges don't require a tailpiece if you string it through the body (remember the ferrules for both the front and back).
