My Ibanez RG1570's dot inlays are pretty boring looking. Is there a way to change it to sharktooth inlays?

Yeah go guy some abalone or mother of pearl cut out the sharkteeth and inlay them yourself. Or just go by a jackson.

Yes, but it is a very hard process, and I wouldnt reccomend it, it would be cheaper to buy a new neck or guitar than to buy all the tools and all the routing.

Get a custom shape that suits your playing while you're at it as well. Go to a guitar shop and find the nicest playing neck in the place, then base your custom on that.
