that movie is a masterpiece by spanish director luis buñuel. he was a genius.

and its name is "un perro andaluz".

he also did one of the best movies that laughts at religion. "simon del desierto"

and another "el angel exterminador"

if you check "el angel exterminador" in internet movie database you will find its one of the top movies

After a lavish dinner party, the guests find themselves mysteriously unable to leave the room... and over the next few days all the elaborate pretenses and facades that they've built up by virtue of their position in society collapse completely as they become reduced to living like animals...

that sounds ridiculously good.
i think i will hunt around for it right now.

yeah much better. its not as weird as un perro andaluz. for me of course. just my opinion

oh and another thing salvador dali was the co guionist of un perro andaluz

the thing about this guy is that he was probably the best direstor in spanish history
and he was friends with the best artist of the time like picasso, etc

no, it is un chien andalou. though the director was spanish, the film was made in france.
my name is matt. you can call me that if you like.

i love that movie.

heres some cool trivia of it:

-The priest being dragged with the piano is Salvador Dalí.
-At the Paris premiere, Luis Buñuel hid behind the screen with stones in his pockets for fear of being attacked by the confused audience.
-Luis Buñuel told Salvador Dalí about a dream in which a cloud sliced the moon in half 'like a razor blade slicing through an eye'. Salvador Dali responded he'd dreamt about a hand crawling with ants. Out of these two dreams the surrealist film Un Chien Andalou was born.
